Dr Michael Hürter (CEO)

Managing Partner

Dr Hürter started his career in the retail sector in 1982 and has 20 years of experience in top management and on supervisory boards at various companies (including Aldi-Süd, Lidl Discount, PLUS Europa (Tengelmann) etc.) as well as in the private equity sector.

In his most recent position as the CEO of bauMax AG, the Austrian market leader in DIY with large hardware stores in 9 countries, he was responsible for the successful restructuring and subsequent M & A process up to the end of 2015 when he then started at euro delkredere on 1st of April 2016.


Theodor Alkemper (CFO)

Managing Partner

Following the completion of his Business Studies course, Mr Alkemper started his career in trade in 1987 and has gained 12 years of experience in management positions since then, among others at the Tengelmann corporate group and the Eurest/Compass Group.

In his most recent position as Head of Controlling at the Eurest/Compass Group he was responsible for Germany. He has extensive expertise in finance, controlling, treasury and IT strategies (including managing the successful introduction of the SAP R/2 and R/3 systems).

Experienced authorised signatories work at middle management level for the following areas:

  • Controlling / Treasury
  • Finance / Accounting / Central Settlement
  • Contract Administration
  • Risk Management

euro delkredere’s core business includes central regulation with full del credere cover for contractual partners from trade, wholesale, industry and production.


The euro delkredere team members have profound personal and technical expertise which allows us to offer  innovative and tailor-made services and solutions to our customers.

We listen and can tap into decades of experience in central settlement as well as operational management.

Each member of staff has comprehensive knowledge of central settlement and del credere cover. Whatever aspect of our product portfolio you are interested in, you can approach our experts and use their expertise at any time. We work together with strong, approved partners for all areas that we do not cover in-house (e.g. software consulting, document management and EDI consulting etc.). We pool these partnerships under euro-services.

We concentrate our efforts on satisfying the needs of our customers. They determine the scope of our commitment and the time we spend on it. We focus in particular on their individual requirements with the aim of improving or permanently securing the economic conditions.

Qualification as the basis

In order to satisfy the demands made on us by our customers and suppliers, and as a prerequisite for our claim to high quality, our members of staff have undergone sound training. They have excellent specialist knowledge plus years of experience. In the interest of customers and suppliers, our concept of permanent further training ensures the specialist, entrepreneurial and personal expertise of our euro delkredere team.


Our work processes are audited and certified

Our quality management undergoes an annual inspection by TÜV Rheinland. Our processes have been certified in line with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 (Certificate: 01 100 052037).

DIN EN ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard that defines the requirements of our quality management system. The company under examination has to explain by means of which measures customers’ demands and expectations are constantly met and with the help of which resources the work flow and structures are continuously checked and improved. This is the basis on which we have consistently described all our company’s management, work and support processes.

By using models, the standard describes the complete quality management system. Our quality policy is focused on aspects of market strategy, on safeguarding the future and on legal aspects. The management system is certified on a voluntary basis by a body accredited for this task. The annual inspection and certification of our quality management system is carried out by TÜV Rheinland.

As a specialist for central settlement with del credere cover we ensure a smooth sequence of events and timely reporting with regard to payment transactions.

All payment transactions are executed by means of electronic banking. Security is always the top priority. Data administration and payment processing are carried out through interfaces. The aim is to execute all operations electronically.
